"MuMu was an absolute standout and the perfect choice for a birthday dinner. Every dish was bursting with flavour—bold, exciting, and beautifully balanced. The food was genuinely incredible and made the whole night feel special. To top it off, the birthday girls were surprised with complimentary watermelon sorbet, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. Little moments like that make all the difference and turn a great dinner into a memorable experience. Amazing flavours, great vibes, and thoughtful service—MuMu completely nailed it. Will 100% be back and already thinking about what to order next!"

"What a nice surprise - Mumu was alot of fun. Great location (right in front of a tram stop on George’s St), fun ambience & good food. South east asian in flavour but with little twists & tweaks in the flavour profile that brought out nice surprises. Our group of 5 had a good time. Its a happy rowdy place with many groups celebrating - so not a place for a quiet romantic meal. All food items we had were delicious (although serve sizes were a little on the small side). Definitely come with a group size of 4 or more so you get to try more dishes (share them family style). Overall a little expensive when you add drinks onto the tab but then this is a place to go out for a celebration & it does deliver!"

"Food is out of this world. The vibe is great with a live DJ when we were there. Service is great and I love the interior of the restaurant. Highlights for us were the claypot garlic rice and the honey glazed charsiu chicken. But everything we had was really tasty and great quality. Food came quickly but at different times as is expected when sharing plates."

"This restaurant was the highlight of our honeymoon's last night! It was bustling with people, clearly a popular spot, but luckily we got a table. The nasi goreng and lamb cutlet were absolutely delicious. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, they even treated us to a dessert—what an unforgettable night! Highly recommend for both the food and the experience!"

"Went as a group of 13 and had a slightly offset private room which was a little more quiet than the main room. Service was attentive and even tho we were having the banquet, they could cater for two vegetarians in the group. Food was delicious and we were full by the end of it. Even tho stuffed, I wish we each had our own flan dessert . It was served between two.. Highly recommend a visit."

"Mumu excelled in a couple of dishes: Balinese Pork Ribs - 10/10 Kaya Icecream - 10/10 Garlic hotpot rice - 10/10 Crispy Brussel Spouts - 11/10 (exceeded!) Salmon Nashi Pear Entree - 9/10 Tandoori Chicken variant - 9/10 However we were a little dissapointed in the portion size of the Char Kway Teow ($36) and the Nasi Goreng ($36). Both those items are staples in Malaysian / Indonesian / South East Asian cuisine yet for the price we paid, we got something that we can get down in chinatown for under $13-15. At least the portion sizes should reflect the price tag in my opinion. Service wise it was decent, overall presentation and atmosphere was not bad and a lot of effort was put into the open kitchen design and bathrooms."

"We went there to celebrate a special event for my friends and Mumu didn’t disappoint We had ordered banquet for our meal. Service was excellent we were greeted with friendly faces. They took care of us really well. Food It was delicious. The Asian cuisine fusion was YUM !! So innovative and interesting. We enjoyed every single dish. Atmosphere Lively and beautiful. It was pretty crowded but we still got our own space. Located near Martin place. You guys really should try this restaurant"

"MuMu is a fantastic place to experience authentic Asian food. Its very busy and quite noisy. Staff is lovely, efficient and helpful. The food is beautifully cooked and seasoned to perfection. Loved the seasonal vegetables. Great dining. Medium price range."
